After five decades of international photography, I've discovered that memorable photographs are rarely about the camera. They are about awareness, anticipation, timing, and recognizing a moment before it disappears. Join me for an intimate three-day photographic experience in the historic Sarthe region of France, just south of the Loire Valley, where we'll explore how to create images that resonate. This workshop is about learning to see differently, recognizing moments that matter, and creating images with purpose and impact. Designed for photographers who want to move beyond camera settings and technical skills, this experience will help you develop a stronger personal vision while photographing beautiful horses in timeless French countryside settings. Limited to just 6-8 photographers, this exclusive experience features five carefully planned photographic sessions, conversations about creativity and storytelling, image review, and discussions that reveal the thought process behind the photograph. This is not simply about photographing horses. It is about learning to recognize the moments worth photographing.

Destination, Seville Spain, An Andalusian Experience, Oct 2027

Dates to be Announced... Spain is about presence. Power. And visual drama. This workshop focuses on the Andalusian horse, photographed in locations that echo the breed’s strength and elegance—historic courtyards, textured walls, dramatic light, and carefully selected environments that elevate the image beyond a standard portrait. We work on connecting horse, setting, and light into a single cohesive statement. You’ll see how small changes in angle, background, or timing completely alter the emotional weight of an image. This is where “seeing” becomes more important than shooting. Spain is also where we push people a bit—out of habits, out of comfort zones, and into more intentional image-making. The goal is not volume. The goal is images that feel deliberate and timeless.
