Portfolio Reviews
Whenever I look at a photograph, the first question I ask is simple: “How could this be better?”
I apply that mindset not only to my own work but also to the work of other photographers.
These portfolio reviews are not about chasing likes on Facebook or Instagram. They are about helping you understand why an image works, where it falls short, and how it can be strengthened. Whether you are an amateur, hobbyist, or professional, an experienced and objective critique can be one of the most valuable tools for improving your photography.
Finding that kind of critique isn’t always easy. Too often, feedback falls into one of two extremes — people either tell you what they think you want to hear, or they tear an image apart without offering practical solutions. My approach is different.
My goal is to help you see more clearly, edit more intentionally, and compose more powerfully. Drawing on decades of international photographic experience, I offer constructive, educational critiques focused on real improvement. I frequently see strong images that could become significantly more impactful through a few small but important compositional or tonal adjustments. Many photographers are surprised by how transformative these changes can be.
Each portfolio review includes a PDF overview of your work, along with detailed, individual critiques of up to ten images. In some cases, I will re-edit an image to visually demonstrate the changes I’m describing. After you receive your critique, you’re welcome to follow up with any questions so we can discuss the feedback in greater detail.
Upon registration, you’ll receive simple instructions for uploading your images, I will contact you via email about how to upload your images for review.
“I am so happy to have sent my images to you, and I thoroughly enjoyed your critique.”
